Questions we get asked
What's the difference between a coupler and an adaptor?
The coupler is the female half with the two cam arms. The adaptor is the male half with a groove that the arms lock into. Any coupler fits any adaptor of the same size, whatever the type letter.
What do I need to connect lay flat hose to my pump?
A common set-up: screw a Type A onto the pump's 2 inch threaded outlet, and fit a Type C into the end of the hose with a hose clamp. The hose then clicks on and off the pump. Add a dust cap to keep dirt out of the pump end when the hose is off.
What's the thread?
Types A and D have a female thread; B and F have a male thread. Check that it matches your pump or tap fitting before you order.
